I have added new addresses to my ‘A Taste of Holland’ file. In this file I have collected the best culinary shops in our mayor cities. This is a list with the best bakeries, cake shops, tea and coffee sellers, cheese shops, fish mongers, chocolate makers, delicatessen and kitchenware stores Holland has to offer. So when visiting our country, take this list with you and you will discover everything your sweet and savoury heart may desire.

Recently we were in The Hague and discovered a new little gem to add to our collection. The place is called ‘Koek & Chocolade’ and they sell hand made chocolates and cookies, a wonderful collection of dried fruits and nuts covered in dark chocolate and pies from the former pastry chef of the Amstel Hotel, all in a minimalist setting, letting the chocolates play the leading part.
