Last week we made the wonderful radiant sweet potato soup recipe that I found on catherine’s appetizing Albion Cooks. When I saw it on her blog I immediately loved the combination of colors and textures and knew this would be a ‘soup to stay’. And indeed it is everything Catherine promised, even without the red lentils (because forgot to buy them and shop already closed incident). Heart warming soup with the nice kick of ginger and the magnificent smell of the spices cumin and coriander. Tonight I am going to treat my parents, who are staying over for a long weekend, to this soup with some flatbread. I inherited my love of soup from them, I just know they will like it.
