Indian Spices

Friends recently travelled to India and brought these indigenous spices as a gift.
In the picture you see (front to back, left to right):

Fennel seeds, coriander seeds, saffron, fenugreek, white peppercorns, cloves, mace, cumin, green peppercorns, smoked cardamom pods, dried turmeric (curcuma), two varieties of cinnamon, regular cardamom pods, nutmeg still in the shell, local variety vanilla pods, dried ginger root.
