A picture of our Dutch kitchen. No! it is not a fake kitchen or a place we have to share with others! It’s real and we cook and bake in it a lot. On the right you see my trusty Kitchenaid for dough and batter, to the left our prided Reneka espresso machine and Matzer grinder (our coffee bean rooster is not in this picture). We have lots of little utensils, bottles, pans etc..but we use them all. From the wok to the grill pan and every little cookie cutter and silicon muffin ‘tin’, pastry brush and spatula. You name it, we’ve got it. Except for when my Father comes to visit. He always has the ‘gift’ of asking for utensil we haven’t got. “Don’t you have such a handy asparagus peeler?” he asks. But then he goes out and buys it for me. Sweet!
